Installation on Macintosh

System Requirements

Software Installation

To begin installation, insert the software CD into the CD drive of the computer.  Double-click on the CD icon that appears on the desktop to view the contents of the CD.

Double-click on the Install SP Show Controller.mpkg icon to launch the installer.

When the installer launches, a dialog appears informing that a system check needs to be done.  Click the Continue button to continue on.

The Welcome screen appears.  Read the text, and then click the Continue button.

The Read Me screen appears.  This text explains what software will be installed and how to do a customized installation to install only selected components, if desired.  Read the text, and then click the Continue button.

The License Agreement screen appears.  Read this agreement carefully and print a copy for your records by clicking on the Print button.  When you are done reading the license agreement, click the Continue button to go on.

You will then be asked whether you agree or disagree with the license agreement.  If you agree with the terms of the agreement, click the Agree button.  If you click Disagree, the installer will quit without installing the software and you may return the product for a refund.

Next, select a destination disk to install the software onto by clicking one of the disks shown.  After selecting a disk, click the Continue button to continue.

The Easy Install screen appears.  Click the Install button to begin the installation.

You will now be asked to provide your user name and password for your computer.  You must have admin privileges to do the installation.  Type in your password and then click the OK button to continue.

The necessary files will now be copied to your disk. 

When complete, click the Quit button to exit the installer.
